GOLDEN WEEK

Golden week is in this week, it's Japanese long holiday week. Someone gets 9 holidays, but almost people get 4 days in this year. It's not long, but we think it's long. Because Japanese have not more long holidays.
You know May Day, in 1886 there was demonstration in Chicago, at that time the work time was 12 or 14 hours. So worker gave a demonstration of work time, "8 hours for work, 8 hours for rest, 8 hours for myself", it's nice idea. In Japan, its was starting in 1920, but the first was Heiminsha's tea time, it was little meeting.
Anyway now, 8 work time is nomal in here, but not real, many people working more. For example, my friend, he wake up at 6:00 am, and go to company at 6:30 am, he is in company around 7:30, and then working until lunch time at 12:00 pm, but sometimes he cannot to take a lunch, and working, working, working... he can back home at 10:00 pm or more late. Not 8 hours. And he can sleep at 1:00 am or 2:00 am. But it's nomal for many people in Tokyo. May day... what's May day? all people know work time is 8 hours.
